HGS Comics Artist: Eric Johnston

Hi everyone, I am Eric Johnston, the lead artist for HGS Comics and Hypergate Studios.  I got my start drawing when I was in 3rd grade.  My friend Trevor and I would make our own comic book cards for sale.  We even convienced the teacher to let us use the laminator and sell the cards at lunch.

Ever since then I have been interested in drawing but it wasn't until college and the start of my graphic design career that I discovered how powerful and professional my art could become using technology.  Now-a-days I am almost a 100% digital artist.  I have worked for many many years with Photoshop in just about all its versions.  I have even started teaching Photoshop drawing classes at conventions.  If you like any of my work above I encourage you to check out my other pages on Deviant Art and The Otaku.  Thanks!
